Vesak Celebration 2026  

To commemorate the Three Sacred Events, the Birth and the Enlightenment of the Bodhisatta, and the Blessed One's Parinibbāna, Ingiriya Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery observed Vesak 2026 with profound devotion. The programme included a Grand Buddha Pūjā, Buddha Guṇa Chanting, almsgiving to the Maha Saṅgha, and the enshrinement of a new Buddha Statue.

These meritorious offerings, made through both paṭipatti pūjā and āmisa pūjā, were shared with the participation of the fourfold Buddhist assembly. May all rejoice in these wholesome deeds!
